Okay, so I was digging through some old stuff the other day, and what do you know, I stumbled upon that weird WWE game for the original Switch. Remember that? December to Dismember vibes, totally. Good times.
Here’s a curveball for ya—WWE’s actually coming back. Yeah, like soon. I’m talking a few weeks kind of soon. They’re crashing back into the Switch 2 scene. Preorders just opened up, and apparently, we’ve been waiting since 2017 for some WWE action on a Nintendo console. Seriously, where does the time go?
So, three versions, right? You’ve got the standard one for $69.99. Not much to say there. Then there’s this “Deadman” edition, priced at $99.99, all about The Undertaker. Legend. Oh, and check this out—there’s also the “Bloodline” edition for $129.99. It’s all about Roman Reigns. Yeah, that guy and his posse have been running the WWE show so long, it feels like they’re never leaving.
And the roster—wow. Over 300 wrestlers. That’s a lot of body slams and suplexes waiting to happen. It’s split across Raw, Smackdown, and NXT, you know, the usual suspects. Oh, and there’s something called “Island” mode. Whatever that’s about, I’m curious. Will it be literal islands? WWE Survivor Series meets… Survivor the show? Who knows! Anyway, it’s a thing.
