Alright, here’s my take:

So, today’s kinda huge for Honkai: Star Rail, right? People have been buzzing about this first-ever collab event with Fate/stay night. Like, free RPG magic meets epic anime drama. Who would’ve thought?
A week ago, we got this new patch, 3.4 or something. And yeah, it had more than just some visuals from that famous visual novel. Side note: Why are these patches always named with numbers? Feels like decoding a spy message. Anyway, there was this livestream back in June. Did I watch it? Nope. But somehow, I know the Fate/stay night characters were hyped like crazy. Saber and Archer — oh boy, people were counting down.
There’s no end date for this event. Rumors say it might last till November. But who knows? Maybe someone just dreamt that up. Quick breakdown: Saber’s a 5-Star Wind/Destruction hero, and Archer’s a Quantum/Hunt character. Archer’s free if you log in, but for Saber, prepare to spend some cash. Download both? Level them up? It’s a journey.
Oh, and they’ve added some kinda lingo about light cones. Banners, no boosted drop rates, but you’re guaranteed Saber’s light cone after 200 tries? Feels like playing a lottery I don’t understand. But here’s the kicker: no English voices for Fate characters. MiHoYo’s got this odd thing against their US voice actors after that strike stuff. Makes you think, right?
Apart from all that, there’s some event called Sweet Dreams and the Holy Grail. Fancy name for what’s basically a battle challenge until August 11. Dive in! Or procrastinate and miss exclusive rewards — no judgment here. Event stuff gets tucked away into the Conventional Memoir after, but some goodies are time-sensitive.
And, hey, on an unrelated note, earlier we saw new faces like Phainon join the game. Not from Fate, but still cool. Then came reruns! Tribbie, Sunday, and Sparkle popped back up in July. Even heard whispers of Firefly’s new outfit. Glorious or pointless? Your call.
Finally, the 3.4 patch did some tweaks to heroes like Kafka, Silver Wolf, and Blade. Felt almost like giving them a shiny new car. So, that’s Jingliu too, right on time for her return tour. Feels almost like destiny, or maybe just good planning. Who knows.
