Sure, here you go:

So, there’s this thing now — Cathedral: Crow’s Curse — kind of a big deal if you’re into the whole gaming scene, especially for those Nintendo Switch folks. Decemberborn Interactive, yeah, they dropped the news. And, get this, you play as Crow. No, not the bird, but this Shade Sentinel guy. Honestly, I didn’t even know Shade Sentinels were a thing until now.
Anyway, the gist is — the Shade Forest is all messed up, like, seriously off-balance. Crow has to wander through these cursed woods and ancient ruins to figure out what’s up with the Sentinel order. Dark stuff, like real dark.
The combat is supposed to be all “fast and fluid.” Which, okay, sounds cool if you’re into dodging and parrying. Not my usual cup of tea, but hey, to each their own. Oh, and stealth! You get to sneak around and do the whole backstab routine. Kind of satisfying in games, if you ask me. Not that I’m advocating any real-life sneaking or backstabbing. Just saying.
Eric Lavesson, the guy running the show at Decemberborn Interactive, says they’re super into making games that connect with players. He mentioned they’re going back to the world of Cathedral with this one. Pouring hearts into projects seems to be their thing, so props to them for that passion. You feel me?
Now, let’s talk features. You’ve got this skill-based combat thing — you know, the usual “learn patterns, time your moves.” Then there’s this whole hand-crafted world vibe, which, I guess means there’s a lot to explore. I kind of picture getting lost in some forest and then — boom — new level unlocked, surprise!
Stealth, though, that’s where I’d probably mess up. You can sneak or go all Rambo from the shadows. They say enemies react to sight, sound, and touch. So, like, basically the three senses I’m always setting off in games.
Upgrades? Abilities? Yes, please. Finding new gear and unlocking skills is the best part of any game. The kind of thrill that makes you forget you’re supposed to be doing… something else, probably.
No word on when this is all coming to the Nintendo eShop. Just that it will. Someday. I guess we’ll have to hang tight and see what happens. Are we hyped? Maybe. Or maybe just curious. Hard to say without actually playing the thing.
But yeah, that’s the scoop. Cathedral: Crow’s Curse. Keep it on your radar if you’re into that kind of adventure. Or don’t — I’m not your boss.
And, that’s about it. I think. My brain’s still somewhere in those cursed woods.
