Okay, so here’s the thing. You know when something tiny just bugs you, but you can’t shake it off? Yeah, that’s me with this whole sink situation in Mecha Break. It’s wild, right? You got a pilot’s room with a toilet that works, yet the sink is, like, MIA. I mean, come on!
So, here’s the setup. When you’re not duking it out in the game, you can wander around the dropship. The place is like your little home base. In your room, there’s a bed for chilling, a desk for… desk stuff (who knows, maybe they write reviews too?), and a bathroom. Oh, and the shower’s a thing. You get this cutscene of your pilot hitting the shower—steamy, privacy glass blurring everything. Seriously, it’s almost like someone had a thing for showers.
But the toilet scene, man—it’s kinda disturbing. There’s our pilot sitting there—in a bodysuit no less—that’s got zero functionality for, um, bathroom breaks. No joke, no zips or anything. So unless we’re dealing with some sci-fi wizardry, that suit’s seen better days.
Now back to the sink—or lack thereof. You click it thinking, “Ah, finally, hygiene!” But nope, nada. It’s just popping in and out of the wall like peek-a-boo. No cutscene, no water. It’s just… not there. And let’s face it, after a full day piloting Alysnes, sweating buckets in what’s basically a second skin, the least you’d want is a decent wash-up, right?
Picture this: you’ve had a long day, and you can’t even peel yourself out of the suit to go. No handwashing after? Isn’t this like a textbook example of how to start a spaceship-wide bug? It’s just… wrong. Space OSHA’s gonna have a field day, I’m telling ya.
So, listen up, devs. If you’re going to make our pilots do number two in a bodysuit—while we watch!—at least sort out the sink situation. Let them wash up after, for crying out loud. Would it really be too much to ask?
