Anyway, so Sid and Tim are back again this week. They’re diving into why System Shock 2 is like this legendary touchstone for gaming—seriously, it influenced everything after. I mean, at least in the gaming world. They also gab about Summer Game Fest 2025—who knew it was already here? And apparently, they’re into new gaming escapades.
Okay, here’s the stuff they’re chatting about:
Next week? Oh man, there’s Ruffy And The Riverside on PS5. Can’t say I know much about it.
Then there’s System Shock 2’s 25th Anniversary Remaster, which is out on PS5 and PS4. Kind of feels like a blast from the past. But cooler. I hope.
Black Desert also makes the list on PS5. Never got into that myself. Too many games, too little time, you know?
And then, Death Stranding 2: On The Beach. PS5 exclusive, I think. Kojima never fails to surprise. Not sure if that’s a good thing or not.
Oh, and there’s some mid-year discount bonanza on the PS Store. Up to 70% off. Tempting, if my wallet agrees.
Then there’s this thing called Ghost of Yōtei. Sounds mysterious — folks at Sucker Punch learn foraging skills in Hokkaido or something. Don’t know what to expect.
Climate Station is another one… Seems like it’s for PS5 and PS VR2? It’s supposed to turn climate science into a story. Like, how does that even work?
OK, onto the main players here. Sid Shuman’s the Senior Director of Content Communications at SIE, and Tim Turi’s the Content Communications Manager. They seem to have this dynamic—almost like siblings, maybe?
Side note: Big shout out to Dormilón for the theme song. It’s honestly quite a jam.
Oh, and just so you know, those PSN game dates might switch up without any heads-up. They pull the info from press releases and ESRB details—so, fingers crossed nothing’s off.
