Ginbey reflects, “Writing a story for globally cherished characters was intimidating at first. Thankfully, these two seem to attract messy adventures, sending story ideas flowing as fast as porridge from a malfunctioning AutoChef.” The goal wasn’t a complex narrative but letting a familiar environment serve up delightfully chaotic tales. Special kudos go to Aardman’s Finbar Hawkins, who helped shape the script with his flair for authenticity.

The new WASH LAD is geared up and ready to scrub away dirt with its industrial-strength washer. A spin-off from Wallace’s Labor Assistant Device first seen in Wallace & Gromit’s World of Invention, this version features elbow-hinged arms perfect for tackling grime, with legs providing all the agility needed for hard-to-reach spots.
Meek explains, “We kept as many features from the original LAD as possible, but tailored the WASH LAD to fit smoothly with the PowerWash Simulator’s character rig, complete with animations that lean into its mechanical demeanor.”
Wielding this compact and robust cleaning companion brings a different vibe compared to the regular PowerWash character model, complete with the clanking sounds of its inner mechanisms. Teaming up with friends to form a little robot army against the dirt is also a delightfully quirky feature!

Experience the tranquil British suburbs as you tackle Wallace and Gromit’s garden and house front, venturing even into Gromit’s doghouse—strictly for cleaning purposes, of course! Discover famed inventions along the way, like the Soccamatic, and round off your tasks by flipping the driveway pond, taking cues from A Close Shave.
### Knit-O-Matic Chaos!
Down in the basement, the Knit-O-Matic could use some TLC. It’s tangled up and ready for a thorough clean. Give it the love it deserves by powering through its intricate mechanisms, while checking inventive diagrams along the way.
Meek shares her thoughts, “Adding animation to structures like the Knit-O-Matic breathes more life and enjoyment for players.” The basement is filled to the brim with eye-catching machinery and hidden oddities that keep the cleaning adventure vibrant.

On a rare sunny day, Wallace’s extraordinary vehicle collection stands ready for a good hose-down. From the Snomanotron to the Top Bun bakery van, each is uniquely charming and in need of attention—just handle the Techno Trousers with care!

Reawaken the Lunar brilliance of the Moon Rocket in our final level. Covered in much more than celestial dust, this spacecraft is begging for a makeover. Clean its exteriors and interiors, removing residues from a memorable extraterrestrial picnic.
