Sure thing, here it goes.

So, we got wind of this week’s State of Play, right? But Sony’s official blurb? Barely gave us breadcrumbs. PlayStation’s big guns have been kinda quiet this year—like, tumbleweed quiet? Anyway, there was chatter, like in the back alleys of gaming forums, about that big 2025 game, Ghost of Yotei. Some of us were crossing fingers and toes that it might pop up for a quick cameo.
I mean, it drops this October, and what have we really seen? Almost zilch. For real, where’s the gameplay, guys? We wanna drool over those pixels already!
Funny bit though, Ghost of Yotei did make a cameo during the showcase! Blink, and you would’ve missed it. Sucker Punch, those cheeky devils, they left us hanging with this minuscule teaser. Just a smidge of content—enough to get the heart racing, but not enough to quench the thirst, you know?
But fear not, apparently, they’re prepping this whole special State of Play just for it. It’s like waiting for a secret club meeting, and we’re all on the guest list. Mark your calendar: July. Not sure when, but July. Like, could be the first, or maybe the last day—does it matter? We’ll be there with popcorn.
The July shindig’s gonna dish out more on Yotei’s leveled-up gameplay, world-building, combat jazz, all that stuff. Hopefully, it’s not one of those end-of-the-month deals, ‘cause patience is a virtue I don’t have!
Oh, and Ghost of Yotei lands on October 2 for PS5. PC folks, see ya in a couple of years. A slow burn, I guess.
