Okay, so last week was kinda fun, right? We threw out a challenge for folks to capture those epic expressive faces in their favorite games. I swear, some people have this magical eye for detail—like, did I ever notice these things? Probably not. Anyway, check out what they sent in using #PSshare and #PSBlog. Here’s what caught our attention, for better or worse:
First up, there’s this shot of Ellie from “The Last of Us Part II” that MrioMoreno5 shared. Honestly, her face just lights up the whole screen. It’s like you can almost hear her laugh. I dunno why I’m so drawn to it.
Then, Couch_Gamer2k23 gives us Maelle in “Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.” She looks kinda worried? Maybe she’s just thinking about what’s for dinner. Who knows?
And then there’s Deacon. EmperorHal snapped him mid-grimace while he’s clutching a weapon. It’s from “Days Gone Remastered.” I’d probably look constipated doing that, but hey, he pulls it off.
Oh, and Cait Sith! xirantics caught him pulling a cheeky grin in “Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.” Can’t even decide if it’s cute or mischievous. Maybe both. Is it weird if I laughed a bit?
player1pov shows us Raven from “Stellar Blade” looking all fierce and ready to pounce. Honestly, she’s got that look like she’s gonna roar any second. I’d hide if I were in her way. Just saying.
RhodWulfLeon’s entry captures Aloy basking in some wistful moment on the grassy fields of “Horizon Forbidden West.” Makes me want to nap or daydream, like when you’re lying in a meadow staring at clouds. Did I just share too much?
